June 14-16. We took 2/3 from the Phils, but shoulda/coulda swept. First 2 games went well, with Dodger offense hitting the mark with 5/11 (runs/hits). But it seems Doc gave up on game 3 by playing a weak offense — JT sitting out again, replaced by yet another newbie Souza (whoza?), and with Barnes over Smith at catcher. First shutoff suffered by Dodgers in 2 years. Let’s hope it doesn’t happen again. Bright note: Dodgers pitchers have become good hitters, especially Urias! Maybe they are our best hope for pinch hitting.
